How to make a Bunny Wreath for Easter!

How to make a Bunny Wreath for Easter!

Easter will be here before you know it!  Decorating for Easter can be this easy.  This is great decor for your door on Easter Sunday.  Maybe some of you will have a big Sunday dinner with lots of guests,  something like this will give your house the look it needs for the special day!

Ok so first you will need a 24" White Wreath and a 30" White  Wreath.  This is going to be the base of your bunny.  You can use a different color if you like but we used white just in case you could see it.  If you don't want any color to be seen

Next step you will take 3 rolls of 20" X 10 Yds White Designer Netting. Cover both wreath forms with it, just like you would when making a regular mesh wreath.  Take the end and tie it between two branches, then the next to the next ring in between two branches and so on until you have covered the entire wreath.   We like to alternate between rings.  We go from the outside to the inside. After you have completed this step you are going to want to attach the 24" wreath to the top of your 30" wreath.  You can do this by using zip ties or wire.

Now for the ears.  This is really not that difficult.  What we did was cut off  7" to 8" strip of 20" White Designer Netting so that is rolls back up into what we call curls.  So let that strip roll back up and take the ends and attach it to the top of the 24" wreath. You can attach them with the branches on the wreath. I would also attach them of the front side of the wreath like shown in the picture above.    Space them apart evenly since they are the ears.

You will use 20" Pink Designer Netting.  You will only need one roll of this because you don't use much of it at all.  Do the same step you did with the 20" white for the ears. You'll want to tuck them in between your white curls and attach them with the branches also.

Ok so the rest is all really simple.  We use 2 of the 32" Plastic ball spray with pink sequins for the whiskers and the eyes. We pulled two of the balls of the sprays and attached them to the branches of the wreaths for eyes.  Attach the sprays in the 24" wreath on both sides to give a whisker look.  Again we used the branches on the wreath to secure the sprays.

Ok the easiest step of all and the last step.  We used a 3" Pink Designer Netting and a 2.5" X 25 Yds Poly Wired Stripe Dazzle 2 Ribbon to make a bow. Making a bow is simple. Just loop from side to side until the bow is as big as you want it and then do the same with the printed ribbon and attach it to the 3" Pink Designer Netting bow.   Place the bow in the middle of the 30" wreath and secure.
